Introduction
Beerzity is a user map made for WGRealms, an episode made by William Gee and is required to play the map.
Gameplay
Has a lot of action throughout the map, especially with lizmen but the wide open spaces help fighting the hordes of enemies and bosses. Although the wide open places helped against every other enemy, it made the commanders very weak and easy to beat and could of been used in more tension building situations such as medium sized buildings.I got lost a few times in the map but eventually figured out a way and then got stuck once again and had to ask for help and finally completed the map. I like the ending of the map because you get a choice of what you wish to do which is good way to end a map.Enemy balance was just right, a bit too many octabrains hidden behind the secret walls though and too many battlelords closer to the end but overall there was plenty of enemies to fight with. Plenty of weapons and ammo throughout the map as well. But you never ran out of shotgun ammo because there can be far too much and could of used more chaingun ammo in a few places but overall it was done well.
Gameplay
After the map became Map Of The Week at AMC, I decided to give this another go. A lot of Billy Boys maps are confusing to know what to do, but I found this less confusing than his other level, therefore more enjoyable to play. Theres plenty of enemies around to keep the action up and a lot of respawns which is a good idea for such a big and long map. The new enemy is quite a challege in most situations, and can be too strong to shot down, although having it is a nice feature for the map. Boss fights can be hard most of the time, but possible since the map has plenty of ammo to keep going. This map has a lot of switches that open doors from quite far or an unknown location until you look at all the locked doors and find the one that open, either way, it has a feeling of excitement once you have found it. The batteries are also a nice touch so the map isn’t limited to only key cards add viarity. Billy boy made a good keycard system in such a huge map, and made some nice ideas for the next possible location to explore, which adds to the fun factor.
Gameplay
A challenging map with a very good enemy balance which stays fair throughout the map. Placements for the enemies are also good and not placed in a too obvious position either. The overall map is to find the keys and find the exit but it still flows well and the keycards were easy to find. The map could of used a lot more respawns though as well. The map can also lack health when you really need it, and it places you didn’t. Otherwise the ammo amount at the start was too less but later in the map you start to get a good, fair amount.
Gameplay
This three map series is very action packed with a mixture of small, medium and large fights and easy to very challenging boss fights. There is a large amount of ammo to use, enough rockets to defeat bosses and plenty of chaingun and shotgun ammo spare. There is a lot of health also, placed in a decent location. Monsters are well places and has mixtures of troopers, enforcers and octabrains most of the time. The main objective of the series is finding keycards and buttons until you find the nuke. Maps start where the last left off which is good and maps remain fun through with different stuff in each map.
