Introduction
Lab X-26 D. Phobos – 2040

Your science team has received information about a nuclear accident taking place within the main Deimos station. Kypervortigaunts have analysed the base and a portal has opened up inside of Lab X-26. The place has been evacuated after a large battle against incoming, mysterious zombifications and psi-emissioned security staff. There is only one weapon that can shut down the malfunctioning portal system: The Kyperior Cube.

Introduction
Almost a decade after the Black Mesa incident which opened up the portal storms, you find yourself trying to cope with its aftermath. Creatures appeared out of thin air. They came without warning and swept the world. It is during this time that you find yourself in your apartment, alone. For no apparent reason, you’ve been approached in your dreams by a man in a suit. Having no idea what is going on, all you can do is try to stay alive.

Introduction
You have been sent to a weird magical world to collect 10 powerful magic symbols for a science team. These symbols are the heart of this world and gives it those bright colours and magic. Each symbol is located in it’s own area, protected by monsters and puzzles. The order in which you obtain the symbols is a different experience each time as a door to one of the zones will be opened at random from the start, and will do so for every symbol that has been retrieved, allowing for varied progression during every session.

Time for a classic little oldie from ’97 where you will find yourself taken prisoner within the halls of an unholy monastery, the place inhabited by the usual bunch of demonic minions. You’re not going to get far sitting inside of that dark cell all day, unless you fancy being cut up and stewed for tonights dinner, it is about time you made that escape.

Introduction

Recently gave a read through of my older review as I have been taking an interest in going back to some maps I played in the past. I started to wonder what it was I found so difficult in the first place, and because of this forgetfulness, I thought it was time to give it another visit – some years later. White Light was originally intended for a brightness contest which never took off, and clearly sticks with that goal in mind. Let’s see how it went a second time.

Introduction
It’s rare to see singleplayer map releases for this game and I thought Sock’s Edge of Forever would be one of the last for a very long while, so it’s nice to be greeted with something new to feast on and see what else has been presented, despite the limitations present in Quake 3 to do this. Lo Sota Olt was the only entry into ..::LvL’s Experimental Singleplayer Contest. It’s a bit of a shame that more interest wasn’t taken. Read on to see how it fares.

Introduction
An abandoned station with a large radar was discovered one night ago, but access wasn’t possible. On a cold and misty day, you’ve decided to try once more, managing to enter through a rusty door into a garage. Suddenly, the flashlights start to darken and you soon start to lose consciousness. Later as you Wake up, you come to find the door is gone along with your flashlights. The room is also different than the one you’ve entered through. There is a burning sensation going through your limbs and movement seems difficult, but you stand up anyway to try and solve this mystery.

Introduction
Metras has to make a break for it after having been caught in the act of thievery, while a parade of guards give chase not far behind. It is not until he reaches the woodlands outside of town before losing them. Not wanting to risk anymore chances, he finds temporary shelter behind the broken grate of what appears to be a drain pipe. It isn’t long before the guards catch up, determined as ever. The only way out of this is to continue on, into the darkness.
