Good set of three puzzles which offers some variety and a decent challenge, especially the head scratcher third chamber.
Browsing Portal 2
Developer: Valve | Released: 2011
Daisycutter 01
The puzzles are simple and easy to excute, while sometimes oddly placed. The design however puts the map down, poor lighting, bare visuals and only gets worse later on.
DaMaGepy’s Portal 2 map #1
Creatively uses the existing mechanics to put a fresh spin on puzzles and looks good all round.
Kl Test Map 1/4
Great use of a single room while adding so much to it, spending a good deal of time solving it.
Old Faithful
Much like before, the experience is enjoyabale, good looking and feels polished. Llobster shows a lot of promise for future releases and I’ll be keeping my eyes out for more from this author.
Sp00k
The dark and foreboding design and little touches of detail such as the use of candles, work well with its change of mood to the usual test chamber. While the puzzle isn’t too bad, the experience mostly draws from it’s unique choice of theme and the design therein.
Sphere of Roundness
Engaging and fun test chamber which almost feels like something take straight out of the original game, along with it’s design and atmosphere.
Stylus 1
While focusing on the element of flinging through portals, the execution is simple to keep the pace and provides four enjoyable chambers to get through.
The Unknown
While the design may be discouraging, the gameplay isn’t too bad and does offer some fun and engaging puzzles with and without portals. The map shows the author is on the right track and will hopefully improve on some aspects in their next map.
