The first in the series that works well as an introduction for what is to come. Detailed and gritty looking city area, with plenty of exploration to immerse yourself with, challenging patrols and atmospheric gameplay.

A Night in Rocksbourg II: Discovery
Moody and atmospheric, a dark and gritty town enshrouded within a cloud of dread. Brilliant usage of sound and setting of tone. Learn more mysteries of Rocksbourg, immersing yourself with the creepiness that lurks throughout the mission.
A Night in Rocksbourg III: Ink and Dust
Manages to create a frightening atmosphere within a dark and gritty yet living environment, full of ambiance and designed with care. Many questions are answered while more are created, full of mystery with a fitting inspiration from Silent Hill.
Broken Triad
Two missions in one that continue from Ominious Bequest, both approaching different themes. The gameplay is very enjoyable, with many twists and turns being thrown at you while the level design is plain and simply, brilliant.
Cataclysmic Revelations
Despite the negative aspects of the gameplay lacking an incentive to explore as covered in the review, the main narrative was interesting to follow and there were several neat twists and ideas to spice up certain areas of the mission.
Forgotten Forest
Explore the house and venture through the crypts, the Forgotten Forest has a nice blend of mystery, exploration and secrets where the real difficulty lies in having a keen eye to find hidden switches.
Into the Maelstrom
Short, atmospheric mission centred around two ships within an eerie cave, while a crew of undead roam restlessly. It is well designed and structured, offering simple objectives and some exploration.
Ominous Bequest Gold
The exploration, secrets and story are some of the major elements which make this mission a fun experience. The design has plenty of significant variety between the different sections of the map and as a whole looks good.
Rose Cottage
Excellent visuals, scene composition and lighting. Creepy gameplay that involves exploration and being scared. Brilliant little mission with plenty of tension.
Shadows In Our Blood
The mission is set up appearing to be something it is not, only later to present this dark and sinister theme and works as a neat contrast, both visually and atmospherically between the two sections.
Shadows of Eidolon
Effective horror themed mission that creates enough tension from the usage of darkness, fear of the unknown and vunerability. Although short, the mission has a good sense of build up for atmosphere.
The Abominable Dr.Dragon
Despite some of the issues and early reveal of the mysteries, this mission is definitely worth checking out to see a mixture of crazy ideas throughout an interconnected castle layout.
The Black Frog
This campaign is made up of five quality missions which make up a progressive plot, with many twists and turns across various themes and locations. Gaëtane offers rich settings, design and atmosphere in each one, while also slightly changing the flow of gameplay as players progress for a hint of spice. There are many surprises to be had during the experience and it keeps getting better over time.
The Dead of Winter
This mission leans toward a survival horror style of gameplay, while you’ll be exploring a very grand castle location. Avoid the many demonic enemies that try to slaughter you, and try to get out of this one alive.
The Last Lighthouse Keeper
Involves you playing detective, where a lot of exploration and backtracking between areas is required to find the necessary objects to progress onwards and pieces of evidence to conclude the mystery of McHarty’s murder.
The Night Watch
Four mission campaign which involves a lot of exploration and putting together clues to progress further into the story, and many small details which adds a rich element to the overall gameplay.
Thief2X – Shadows of the Metal Age
Thief2X is a high quality fan mission with enjoyable missions in great looking locations, complete with briefings, cutscenes and new voice acting, is deffinitely a great experience you would expect from a retail game.
Torn Apart
While the visuals are on the simple side, the mission does well at focusing on the horror themes and gearing the gameplay towards this. There are various nice ideas and a little tension built up because of them, but could have benefited more with better use of ambient tracks and interesting lighting.
What Lies Below – The Crusade for the Old Quarter
This can be a difficult mission to conquer, but rewarding upon doing so as you progress between each section, all set within a fantastic looking sewer with an interesting twist in its visual style.
