I was contacted to procure a powerful tome called the Necronomicon. An eccentric scholar called Fistral reputedly obtained a copy for a high price, for use in secret experiments. He died along with his wife a while back. Recently, a party of Hammerities set out to obtain and destroy the book. They were not heard from again.
After a good long while, the latest community project is finally out the door and special thanks goes to Forge and Micky C for working their butts off with polishing and problem solving. The project takes place within a city in space in which the aliens have decided to invade. CBP8 makes use of TROR (true room over room) which provides a little extra sense of depth to the design across the map. My section in particular takes place in the upper city, surrounding a police substation and some mechs.
The job is to break into a highly-secured embassy in the middle of Hightowne and steal a priceless diamond staff owned by an aristocrat from Blackbrook. My employer has given me instructions to follow, this will come in handy, because I have the feeling this is not going to be a cakewalk.
The Hammerites are becoming more agitated by the hour since they’ve received nothing from Dr. Dragon’s dig from the recently discovered ruins of an ancient temple, and their spy hasn’t been heard from for weeks. You’ve been contacted by said spy’s brother to help locate him in exchange for a map.
Lord Jack is the richest man in town. He owns a valuable Serpentile Torc and your objective is to steal it. The Serpentile Torc is located in the highly guarded trophy room of Jack’s manor.
Duke has been sent over to Highland Highschool to clean up the place from top to bottom, mowing down every alien that comes his way across four floors. Built with the HRP in mind, but also polished for classic textures too.

Introduction
The Stairwell is an experimental horror which has been based on the story of SCP-087 from a collection over at The SCP Foundation. Having had no prior experience to these beforehand, I was jumping in head first for something new and I’d probably recommend other players in a similar situation to do the same.
