Introduction
A fantastic release from one of the great mappers for Duke3D. This level was sure worth the wait after 2 years in development and truely a masterpiece.
Gameplay
The best part about the map. It starts as the story is told in the text file, and then you learn more as you progress on just like Red5 did. Although this map has more adventure in it and has a lot more ingame cutscenes and less view screens, which is a very nice addition to the map (make sure you have the .voc files in your Duke3D directory, since they are vital for the gameplay immersion) Enemies posed a challenge, a little less ammo to fight them with but still had a balanced gameplay. The map had a bit of replay value also. Read More »
Introduction
A five level episode from Alejandro Glavic, owner of AMC and other great levels.
Gameplay
This episode is basically mission based where you do objectives in a clean, solid way, much like his other user maps. A good ammo and health balance with a lot of action throughout with some very exciting sections and tension. Boss fights are planned out in good sized areas except the last map which can be very tricky.
Design
Design is top notch. Most of the levels are dark and gloomy with the texture choices being good ones with a gloomy sort of feel to them. The first two levels aren’t as good as the later three design wise. There is a lot of spritework and trimming which has all been done well and clean looking. Lighting and shading is also good, an example is the wall lights in level two as they looks very realistic.
Overall Conclusion
Top notch designed, mission based episode with a lot of action.

Introduction
This is a mod with two episodes in which can be played. Includes new weapons, enemies and some well done voice acting.
Gameplay
Gameplay in this mod is really fun, and the British voice acting is hilarious and done well. The fight with the dead are fair and the lower health you have makes it more of a challenge. theres plenty of health to get through with and a fair amount of weapons used in the mod. Mod offers some near weapons and enemies which makes playing through even more fun.
Design
Design can be above average most of the time, with well chosen textures. Sometimes, areas can be a bit basic and texturing can be quite poor. There iss some misaligned textures around in some levels too, but overall the levels have been made to play through in an enjoyable way
Overall Conclusion
Really good mod with a fun gameplay, hilarious voice acting, new weapons and enemies to fight against with some challenges here and there.

Gameplay
Very easy with a small amount of enemies. There is enough ammo and health in the map but the pigcops can be a bother when it comes to health. The map is tricky to complete as it requires you to open non-obvious “doors” to get keycards to proceed furthur in the map. The outside area could of used more enemies though. The weapon and item placements were good though and not too close to each other. The boss fight at the end in impossible though and would of been better as a Nuke button.
Design
Basic with a messy layout and bad texturing. The canyon area is fairly well made but the sky wasn’t made correctly and ruined the feel of it being outside. The map also lacks shading which never worked well outside since the map uses a night sky. Some rooms were very tight and one vent was hard to get into and had to be entered at a certain point.
Overall Conclusion
Basic designed map with an easy gameplay, but tricky to find where to go next.

Gameplay
Sometimes challenging, and sometimes easy. The map remains fun through the whole map and the ending is great, I won’t spoil it though. Enemy balance is good, although the slimers got annoying. Plenty of ammo which is placed well, and health has been placed very well and plenty of it. No minibosses, which was a shame, and could of had one in it at least to make things a little more interesting but it was still a enjoyable map.
Design
Design has been done well in this and I noticed areas inspired by Mikko Sandt’s work, not by a lot, but it looks as if it was. Texture choices can be good but some textures don’t really fit well. Lighting and shading has been done very well and look realistic. I noticed a lot of default texture zero in some areas, either done on purpose or by actident, but it works well underground.
Overall Conclusion
A great release I really enjoyed playing due to its balanced gameplay.

Gameplay
Nothing much but a really short map where the house has several enemies and the exit is around the back which needs no attempt to get to. There a few weapons around and a small bit of health too.
Design
Basic, but shows that it is a house with fairly well designed furniture although still very basic with bad texturing.
Overall Conclusion
Very short map, not really worth playing

Gameplay
A lot of looking around in the two levels for keycards which are fairly simple to find. The levels also have a good balance with enemies, ammo and health. The two maps aren’t hard to complete them both, but some areas can be challenging. Each area is large enough to dodge attacks and makes the fights fair with the larger hordes.
Design
Very bad design with a horrible layout and room structure. Texturing is very random throughout the two maps and looks untidy. A lot of textures are not chosen well and not even aligned. The size of the rooms are large and this is good for the fights but they also tend to be very empty and boring. The two maps don’t have any ambience either making the atmosphere very dull and not enjoyable.
Overall Conclusion
Two maps with good gameplay but horrible design.

Gameplay
A very basic keycard hunting map. The map doesn’t have a very good balance of enemies and a few rooms have a horde of enemies which are nearly impossible to survive because the map lacks health. There is also one room in the map which has too many weapons and ammo in it ruining the map.
Design
Very basic throughout with a few good texture choices but aligned very badly, some ceiling textures could of been better too, as they do not fit where they have been placed. The map also has a default textured area which doesn’t look nice at all making it look unfinished.
Overall Conclusion
Basic design and short, simple gameplay which is nearly impossible to survive in.

Gameplay
A straight forward key hunting map. Enemies are placed well and theres a good balance of them around. Some fights with tanks can be challenging but possible. Theres plenty of ammo and health to keep you going, some are placed in good locations. Keycards have been hidden well, the red one being surrounded by enemies. The atmosphere of the level is made well too, and the sound works prefectly with the map.
Design
Above average, with some very well made mines and rail way track, and a good looking helicopter. Textures choice is good and aligned well, and sky fits the map although could of been slightly more darker. Shading has been done well in most areas and the level doesn’t look flat at all, especially outside. The map has some very nice ideas with design in the map too, such as the fenced area that needs a blue keycard.
Overall Conclusion
Very well made map for a first release.
